Campus History

Dr. Cobb began working in GPISD when he accepted the position of head basketball coach at Galena Park High School in 1954. He remained at Galena Park High School until 1960 when he accepted the position of business manager for the district. He was then named an assistant superintendent in 1966 and was named superintendent in 1970. Dr. Cobb served 17 years as superintendent in Galena Park ISD.
